The Musical Promenade in Vavla is an annual music festival that brings the entire village to life. Hosted in the traditional stone courtyards, narrow alleys and open squares of Vavla, the festival invites visitors to wander through the village and discover live performances unfolding in unexpected spaces. From the afternoon until midnight, Vavla becomes a living soundscape. Each stop on the promenade offers a new musical encounter, a new moment of connection. Visitors receive a map upon arrival and are encouraged to explore at their own pace, meeting artists, locals and fellow explorers along the way. The festival is organised by the Vavla Development Association, with The Open Nest Company contributing artistic input and curation. Together, we work with the community to highlight local talent, welcome international guests and create an event that honours both tradition and contemporary expression.
